KUSI reporter interviews Joy Cole of BOMA San Diego
BOMA San Diego was recently featured on KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego for their partnership with the Promises2Kids “Give Your Heart to Kids” holiday gift drive. Promises2Kids helps to serve over 7,000 children that live in foster care each year in San Diego County due to abuse, neglect or abandonment and is best known for building the Polinsky Children’s Center, an emergency center for abused and neglected children.
BOMA San Diego has partnered with Promises2Kids, providing an “army of elves” for 16 years, collecting gifts for the children who stay at the center during the difficult holiday season. Last year BOMA donated over 6,000 gifts, with 250 donation bins all over San Diego! Members of the organization volunteer to put in hours of work wrapping, distributing and picking up the bins at over 200 business buildings around the county.
